Cape Cod Foliage Train Tour
Thursday, October 14
All Aboard! … for a fabulous day with PRIME TIME as we enjoy a perfect autumn day on the Cape!
The day begins with an elegant luncheon onboard the Cape Cod Central Railroad. Enjoy a leisurely two-hour journey that pairs a savory 3-course luncheon and exceptional service with stunning views of the coastal landscape, salt marshes and vibrant foliage. Today’s meal choices are Chicken Saltimbocca, New England Haddock Nantucket or a Baked Eggplant Rollatini. All meals are served with Portuguese Kale Vegetable Soup, appropriate starch and dessert.
Following our nostalgic luncheon, we’ll enjoy a cranberry bog tour at A.D. Makepeace Company in Wareham. The A.D. Makepeace Company is the world’s largest cranberry grower and a recognized leader in environmentally responsible real estate development and stewardship. Our tour guide will discuss the yearly cycle of cranberry growing, the methods of harvesting and provide insight on being a cranberry farmer. They will be plenty of time for questions and discussions throughout the tour; and those that choose to, may step out for a ‘bog side’ view of the wet harvest cranberry operation.
Celebrate autumn with PRIME TIME on this scenic culinary train journey and cranberry bog tour!
