Mass Save HEAT Loan Program
A Mass Save Heat Loan is a great way to pay for upgrades to inefficient home heating and water heating equipment, insulation, replacement windows, thermostats, and more.
How do I know if I’m eligible?
The first step is to visit MassSave.com/HEATLoan or call 1.866.527.7283 to schedule a Mass Save® Home Energy Assessment. This free assessment takes only two hours, yet goes a long way toward determining your home’s needs and the best ways to use an energy-efficient loan.
We want to help you eliminate the worry and cost of having overdrawn checks returned with an overdraft line of credit. While some accounts may qualify for our Courtesy Overdraft Privilege Service, we also offer overdraft lines of credit up to $2,000 to qualified applicants, with monthly payments conveniently deducted from a Bristol County Savings Bank deposit account.
Overdraft Line of Credit
When your checking account does not have enough available funds to cover an item presented for payment, a transfer is made from your overdraft protection line into your checking account to cover the amount of the item. (Available upon approved application.)
Automatic Transfer Services
Bristol County Savings Bank’s automatic transfer service transfers funds from your statement account to your checking account, to help you avoid overdrafts or meet a minimum balance requirement.
Need to maintain a minimum balance in your checking account? Just let us know and we can establish a sweep from another Bristol County Savings Bank account to ensure your primary checking account has your desired minimum balance. If you prefer to sweep excess primary checking account funds out to a savings or money market account, you can automate that process as well.
Home Equity Loans & Lines of Credit
Leverage the equity you’ve earned on your home to make renovations, pay college expenses, or even fund a well-earned dream vacation. You can finance up to 80% of your home’s appraised value using its equity as collateral. Choose a fixed-rate home equity loan or variable-rate home equity line of credit. Learn more.
Secured and Unsecured Personal Loans
We offer secured and unsecured personal loans from $1,000 to $10,000. Terms and interest rates vary depending on your needs and an applicant's qualifications.
If you are interested in a secured personal loan, you can use your Bristol County Savings Bank Passbook account or Certificate of Deposit to secure a loan at just 4% over the interest you are earning on your Savings or CD account. You will continue to earn interest on the full amount of your account deposit balance.

"My husband and I worked with Vicky Faunce and her team of underwriters on a pre-approval. We unexpectedly fell in love with a home this weekend and needed an updated letter as ours from a different lender had expired. Poor planning on our part doesn’t need to be considered an emergency on anyone else’s, but Vicky and her team busted their behinds to review our financials and get the letter in our hands in time for the selling agents to present to their clients. We’re so happy and grateful for the work they did for us today."Katherine Mirabito
