Bristol County Savings Bank Promotes Five To 1st Vice President
As 1st Vice President/Business Support Services, Nancy Adams is responsible for managing the relationship with the Bank’s Core Processor and third-party vendors, executing special projects, identifying and analyzing business risks and helping to ensure proper control policies and procedures are in place. Prior to her promotion, Adams held the positions of VP/Operations, Acting BSA Officer, AVP/Operations, Special Projects Coordinator, AVP/Residential Services, Residential Mortgage Officer and Mortgage Processor at the Bank. Formerly, she was a Mortgage Consultant for Horry County Savings Bank in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Adams is a Board Member for Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, Attleboro, Massachusetts. She earned her associates degree in Retail Management from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Cambridge College for Quality Control and Improvement Management. Adams resides in Easton, Massachusetts.
Teresa Janeiro’s responsibilities as 1st Vice President/Compliance Officer involve administering the Bank’s compliance program within the framework of its Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system. Specifically, she ensures that the Bank complies with applicable federal and state consumer protection laws and statutes and recommends and implements changes to support the prescribed requirements for compliance. Janeiro is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Compliance Network.
Previously, Janeiro held several positions at the Bank, including VP/Compliance, AVP/Compliance Officer, Compliance Analyst and Branch Supervisor. She earned her bachelor’s degree from New England College of Business, Boston, Massachusetts and received her associates degree in Business Management from Bristol Community College in Fall River, Massachusetts. Janeiro is a graduate of the Massachusetts Bankers Association New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Janeiro resides in Taunton.
In her new position as 1st Vice President/Finance, Lisa Lassiter focuses on asset and liability management, profitability and performance analysis, and treasury management. Previously, she held the positions of VP/Finance, VP/Controller, AVP/Controller, Controller, Accounting Manager and Staff Accountant at the Bank. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UMass Dartmouth and is a graduate, with honors, from the Massachusetts Bankers Association New England School for Financial Studies at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Lassiter lives in Rochester, Massachusetts.
As 1st Vice President/Controller, Patricia Martucci is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and the financial reporting for the Bank. Prior to her recent appointment, she held the position of VP/Controller at the Bank. Previously, she served as VP/Controller, AVP/Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager at HarborOne Bank, Brockton, Massachusetts. A certified public accountant (CPA) and member of the Financial Managers Society, Martucci earned her Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Accounting from Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, Massachusetts and her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Accounting from Saint Michael’s College, Colchester, Vermont. Martucci resides in Bridgewater.
David Medeiros, 1st Vice President/Manager of Retail Banking, is responsible for the management of the entire retail branch network, including oversight of the branches, establishing business development goals, enhancing the customer experience and implementing strategic initiatives. Prior to his current position, Medeiros served as VP/Retail Banking Manager, VP/Regional Banking Officer and AVP/Regional Branch Administrator for the Bank. Previously, he held the positions of VP - Branch Manager and VP - Area Manager for Sovereign Bank in the New Bedford, Massachusetts area and VP - Lead Branch Manager of the Downtown New Bedford Office for Shawmut Bank, NA.
Active in the community, Medeiros presently serves on the EICC Advisory Committee at New Bedford High School. He was previously a Vice President and Board Member with Downtown New Bedford Inc. and held board positions with Junior Achievement and the American Cancer Society, as well as committee and officer positions with the American Heart Association, United Way of Greater New Bedford and New Bedford Working Capital (PACE). Medeiros resides in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
